The Grand Bell Awards, which is considered one of the three biggest and prestigious film awards held in South Korea, has officially released and announced its candidates for this year’s awards ceremony.
Also known as Daejong International Film Awards, the annual event is presented by The Motion Pictures Association of Korea and nominees were selected by movie officials and judges from titles that were released from October 1, 2022 to September 30, 2023.
In its 59th edition, Cobweb (2023) topped the record with a total of 14 nominations, followed by Smugglers (2023) and Concrete Utopia (2023) with 11 nominations each, and The Night Owl (2022) with 9 nominations.
