Coupang Play’s What Comes After Love (2024) depicts the love story that transcends borders between two people of different nationalities who meet each other in Japan but eventually break up as lovers and reunite in Korea after five years.
Japanese actor Sakaguchi Kentaro takes on the role of Jung, a man from Japan who falls in love with a woman from Korea while Lee Se-young portrays Hong, a woman from Korea who is studying in Japan. Meanwhile, Hong Jong Hyun is in talks to play Min Joon, the fiancé of Hong (Lee Se-young) who has loved her for 15 years.
The drama is based on the 2005 best-selling novel, “Things That Come After Love” by Korean writer Gong Ji Yeong and Japanese writer Tsuji Hitonari.
