JTBC’s My Sweet Mobster (2024) is a romance drama filled with twists and excitement about a former gang leader and a YouTuber who each longs for a pure heart and dreams of becoming a better person.
Uhm Tae-goo takes on the role of Seo Ji-hwan, a former boss of a gang who leaves his dark past and returns as the CEO of a social enterprise. He travels all over Korea to dismantle groups of gangs and recruit ex-convicts, leading them into a brand new life.
Han Sun-hwa portrays Go Eun-ha, a lively woman who is the content creator of “Minnie Unnie” that features kids. She plays with children and envisions to spread love and happiness as inspired by the memories of her childhood. She is not concerned about money and goes the extra mile to pursue her activities with children, despite the negative reception from her company due to her low number of subscribers.
