Five Reasons Why SB19 Concerts Are Worth The Hype

The Kings of P-pop are definitely back with a bang! After selling out the Simula At Wakas (SAW) World Tour Kickoff concert in seven hours, a second show was announced to be added due to popular demand. This made SB19 the first Filipino act to hold a two-day concert at the world’s largest indoor arena, the Philippine Arena. The immense popularity of the P-pop kings was also observed overseas as concert tickets were sold out in minutes, such as in the USA and Taiwan. 

Here are five reasons why SB19 concerts are worth the hype and every penny:

1. THE VOCALS

One of the factors that drive people insane about SB19 is their undeniable vocal power! Known as the live vocal monsters of P-pop, they can belt out powerful songs that make your jaws drop and are undeniably a perfect vocal package — Stell’s high pitch, Ken’s deep notes, Josh Cullen’s cool raps, Justin’s falsetto, Pablo’s raspy timbre combined into one awesome performance just leave you in awe. 

They’re also multi-genre powerhouse vocalists — whether it’s groovy, funky, head bop, R&B, rock, or hip hop, they vocally slay those kinds of music. If you are into ballad, acoustic, or harmony, they also nail such styles that leave you speechless every time. 

Moreover, it’s a mind-blowing and stage shaking experience to watch them dance a heavy choreography while rapping and singing live on a handheld mic, and still sound so stable and in sync until the end. After all, SB19 is not dubbed as the “Kings of P-Pop” for nothing!

2. THE PERFORMANCES

There are no dull moments when it comes to SB19 concerts. Whether they perform as a group or solo on stage, the P-pop kings know how to hype up the crowd with their upbeat songs, heart-wrenching ballads, and electrifying performances. Their concerts are a whirlwind of energy, bursting with vitality that feature a seamless blend of various genres and emanate an emotion-charged soundscape, keeping the audiences on their feet.

They’re also renowned for their iconic choreography and dance moves, like Gento and DAM, which became a dance challenge trend on TikTok worldwide. Adding fuel to their high energy on stage is their backup dancers, W3, formerly known as Skouts, who are also setting a new standard for dance performances. 

It takes one SB19 concert to make you feel in awe, and you’d just start craving for that same feeling until you know you’ve fallen deep into the rabbit hole. 3. THE STORYTELLING. 

SB19 isn’t just a group of singers and dancers, but they’re master artists who are very hands-on with their craft and much involved with the creative process from brainstorming to preparations and overall production. They write and produce music not just for the sake of releasing them but to tell a powerful story that tugs at the heartstrings, just like their songs MAPA, LIHAM, NYEBE, and their trio extended play (EP), released every other year from 2021 to 2025. They are genius storytellers!

We remember attending Pagtatag! Finale concert in May 2024 and the overall experience felt like a concert of poetry and storytelling combined with awesome musical pieces and visually stunning stage designs such as the iconic tree. Every detail being presented on stage is a piece of art that conveys purpose towards a greater vision and connects well to the next phase or era of SB19. This group always creates something fresh, something exciting, something better, bigger, brighter to create an unforgettable concert experience for audiences both in words and sounds. 



DAM is SB19’s lead single for their third EP, Simula At Wakas (SAW). It was released on February 28, 2025, making history as the first P-pop song to reach 4M views in 24 hours on YouTube and stay on #1 trending music for two weeks on YouTube PH, besides the numerous charts it garnered across the globe. When the P-pop kings released the teasers and lead single “DAM” for their comeback this year, we knew it would be a blast as each content reflects depth, hardwork, teamwork, diligence, excellence, purpose, story, and world-class quality overall. For sure, the P-pop kings are preparing once again to create a spectacle that’s both visually stunning and musically captivating for this year’s world tour concert — and that it would certainly be a regretful moment not to experience their first big stage at the Philippine Arena.

That’s why we felt so sad that we weren’t able to secure tickets during the crazy ticket-selling for the May 31st concert and so glad to hear about the good news that Day 2 is happening on June 1st! Cool beans!

4. THE STAGE PRESENCE

The kings of P-Pop do not only serve pure talent on stage, but they naturally radiate charisma as well. Like everyone else, it’s a common spell to find yourself vibing to their music, fully captivated by their irresistible fire and charm overall.

Imagine you’re seated eagerly waiting for the concert to start. All of a sudden, the lights go out, and the crowd goes wild as the Kings of P-Pop take the stage. And soon you just find yourself thoroughly engrossed by their stage presence — Ken’s swag, Pablo’s alpha stance, Stell’s sense of humour, Justin’s contagious smile, and Josh Cullen’s cool vibes.

They appear to be very simple and down-to-earth individuals, but when put altogether on stage and they start to perform, they become different people — exceptionally live vocal monsters and high-powered dancers. You are so present in the moment that you couldn’t take your eyes off them as they sing their hearts out, dance with pure energy, and have fun on stage while interacting with the crowd.

Despite the differences in personality, they can also make fun and bring amusement or lighthearted pleasure to fans through their natural playfulness and silliness on stage. They make sure to engage in heartfelt interactions and express their love and appreciation to A’TIN in special ways.

    Ano nga ba?
    Let me count the reasons..
    First, I am excited to see Pablo, Josh, Stell, Stell, Ken, and Justin in the flesh. Hindi man ako makakalapit. Hindi ko man sila mahahawakan, pero the fact na we are in the same place at the same time makes me so excited. Hindi na sa TV, hindi na sa video. Live via satellite with no commercial break.
    Second, Excited to hear their songs and vocals. Yung mala roller coaster na songs and emotions that go with it. Yung at one point you were crying dahil sa ‘Time’ the biglang ‘8tonball’ ung next na song. hindi pa ako nakakapag pahid ng luha eh dapat ng mag jump, jump. ‘diba kaloka. Yung songs at emotion na dadalhin ka sa kung saan-saang lugar pero at the end you still have common ground.
    Third, yung napaka lakas na dance moves. D’yos mio Marimar. Grabe yung power ng dance moves. Tapos samahan mo opa ng W3? Ay ewan ko na lang talaga. Ito yung mga dance moves na hindi ko kaya.hahaha.
    Fourth, excited to see new and old faces of my co-A’Tin. I am a self-confessed introvert. Pero I am proud of myself na by attending such events, eh I am having courage na makipag usap sa mga kapwa ko A’tin. I met and be friended a lot and we update each other with SB19’s ganap once in a while. Kaya excited to meet mga bagong friends.
    Fifth, yung Sea of Blue Ocean. Grabeh ung ganda sa paningin ng sight na iyon? nakakaiyak kasi alam natin yung story nila. From performing sa mga small events with few to no people watching to performing sa World’s Biggest Indoor Arena with thousand of people and lahat sila with their lightstick and wristbands will do that blue ocean wave. Nakakakilabot, nakakaiyak, and nakakatuwa at the same time.
    Over-all, I am excited with the Simula at Wakas Concer. Given all those reasons, and for sure many more, sino ang hindi ma eexcite. I know SB19 will give us a very memorable concert experience on May 31 and June.

  2. I’ve been a fan before “A’tin”, part of then Nameless Fandom with Official Logo and Color. Up until now, the excitement everytime I see them perform live is still there. This time, what excite me the most for the upcoming SAW concert, beside ofcourse hearing the new songs live, are the thoroughly prepared stage set ups as what the boys said. Having a bigger than before venue, the boys will sure make extravagant stages for each performances, specially for the new songs and I’m so ready and really looking forward to experience it all!

  3. I am excited soo much for the SAW Con., to see the actual performances of our Mahalima. I want to experience the thrill,the magic, the surreal feelings watching them performed incredibly.I want to cry and felt the A’tin vibes. And I’ve never meet Mahalima in person, I am a 3years A’tin, not that long but still its the support that matters. I love them, I considered them as my inspiration to push through in my dreams , I am now here at the place where I feel unsure with my decisions but I always think about our Mahalima on how they pursue their dreams in life.

What I’m most excited about in the upcoming SB19 SAW concert to experience is to be part of the blue ocean wave together with my co-a’tin/ mga kaps, to see them in person even though it’s not so close, and to hear their live vocal performances. For me, that will be a memorable experience that I will have in my birthday month. I also have plan to celebrate my birthday there, because if I win and get to go their concert, that would be one of the best birthday presents I could ever have. I will truly cherish every single moment in the SB19 SaW concert because it will be the happiest experience I will ever have in my fangirl era. So, I’m an A’tin since MAPA era and what excites me this SAW Concert is the fact that this will be my first con away from home, first time traveling out of our province alone just to see the boys plus Day 1 Con falls the same day as my birthday. SB19 already gave us a heads up that this SAW era will be something BIGGER than other concert they had. It excites me knowing they too are super excited. I know how passionate the boys are preparing for this and surely they will be giving us that once in a lifetime experience that nobody should miss the reason why I thought of attending day 1. This SAW con will definitely heal a part of me that once dreamt to not just see them perform but also to be part of the widest blue ocean that we A’tin will gonna make. The best part might be just being surrounded by fellow A’tin gushing and hyping out together in that arena—especially since it’s their first show in this venue! How cool is it to witness this historic moment for them as part of the live audience? Having attended some SB19 concerts before, I can attest that each show hits differently (even Day 2 shows of the same tour!). The Pagtatag Finale was the first event I got to witness, so this time, I’m incredibly excited to experience and feel SB19’s new era/comeback. I’m not only excited for the new songs, of course, but also for their performances which are absolutely top-notch. Even if you watch them over and over again, you’ll never get tired because every performance always has something explosive or a new arrangement. Their performances are always delivered with excellence, so they’re definitely not to be missed. Can’t wait to see them performing in the biggest arena! 🙂

The thought of seeing them live, knowing they won’t be young forever, is both thrilling and a little bittersweet. I really don’t want to miss this; their concerts are legendary! And as someone who has also fallen into their rabbit hole, I just want to add another reason why the hype for their concerts is so high — the ever changing musical arrangement of their songs! Probably the advantage for having, not just one now, but three members with several music production credits under their belts! When attending SB19 concerts, fans don’t just look forward with anticipation to their new songs, they also look forward to hearing a new take of the songs they already loved. The set list will seem like it’s made up of wholly new songs! Every penny you spend to watch their concerts are truly worth it!
