“Our Beloved Summer” and “The Silent Sea” have entered Netflix’s Global Top 10 for the week of December 20 to 26, 2021.
The science-fiction-thriller genre, “The Silent Sea”, has been watched for 22.2 million hours since its release on December 24th. It’s currently on Top 10 in TV in 24 countries from Asia and Europe.
The show is an eight-part series where space explorers travel to a deserted moon base and encounter unfortunate incidents. It stars Bae Doona, Gong Yoo, Lee Joon, Kim Sun-young, and Lee Sung-wook.
“Our Beloved Summer“, which is a romantic-comedy theme, has achieved 9.9 million viewing hours on Netflix since its release on December 6th. It is currently on Top in TV in 12 countries from Asia.
It centers around two high school ex-lovers who get pulled back into each other’s lives, starring Choi Woo-shik and Kim Da-mi.
Meanwhile, the thriller-survival series “Squid Game” remains on the list of Netflix’s Global Top 10 on its 15th week, followed by the sageuk genre, “The King’s Affection” that shows a record of 10 weeks on the week of December 20 to 26, 2021. The seaside narrative, “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” stayed on Global Top 10 for 16 weeks until the week of December 13 to 19, 2021.
