After a successful drama in 2020, It’s Okay To Not Be Okay, amazingly talented Seo Yea-ji is finally returning to the small screen through tvN’s Eve.
According to Osen, the drama has been confirmed to be released in May 2022 after The Killer’s Shopping List (2022) ends.
Eve (2022) also known as Eve’s Scandal is a romantic-revenge drama that talks about a chaebol family, a divorce lawsuit worth 2 trillion won that shocks the entire nation, and a daughter named Lee Ra-el who is at the center of the lawsuit to be played by Seo Yea-ji.
According to the production team, Seo Yea-ji was selected for this role for her solid acting skills and sense of immersion in the character being portrayed, “From the first meeting, she analyzed the script more thoroughly than anyone else. A high understanding of the character and great affection for the project are the main reasons she was cast.”
The drama also stars Park Byung-eun who will play a CEO and a double-sided character who falls in love with Seo Yea-ji. Lee Sang-yeob will portray a role that came from an orphanage that became successful while Yoo Sun plays the woman who appears to have it all together but inwardly struggling with anxiety and obsession in her marriage life.
The production team revealed that the cast and characters will bring a strong energy to the drama’s narrative.
The filming began in November 2021 and their official script reading photos were released in February 2022.
