ENA’s Korean series, Extraordinary Attorney Woo (2022) starring Park Eun-bin and Kang Tae-oh, has achieved yet another milestone, crossing 200 million viewing hours on Netflix this time. It has also maintained its no.1 position as the most watched non-English TV series worldwide on the first week of August.

From 23.9 million viewing hours during its first week of streaming, it has now been watched for a total of 257.2 million hours, as of August 7th. The number is expected to rise as the drama is slated to end on August 18th with four episodes left.

While the drama is reaching heights locally, it also continues to pull in more international audiences through Netflix. So far, it has reached Top 10 in TV in 49 countries from Asia, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and The Americas. It landed at no.1 spot in Bangladesh, Bolivia, Hongkong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Looking at this year’s most watched Korean titles on Netflix, Extraordinary Attorney Woo (2022) ranks third place in terms of viewing hours. All Of Us Are Dead (2022) remains the no.1 most watched Korean show in 2022 with 659.5 million viewing hours for 11 weeks, followed by A Business Proposal (2022) that garnered 279.1 million hours for 13 weeks. However, it looks like Extraordinary Attorney Woo (2022) will soon claim the second spot.

Extraordinary Attorney Woo (2022) follows an extraordinary child named Woo Young-woo who has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She grows up with a high IQ, able to memorize the books of laws, graduated with top honors as a law student, and landed a job at a big law firm. She exercises her extraordinary skills as a lawyer in various cases while experiencing challenges amid discrimination from society.
