“Thanks to everyone who loved Snowdrop and Young-ro,” Jisoo expressed a simple yet meaningful message to fans during her acceptance speech at the 17th Seoul International Drama Awards (SDA).

Blackpink’s Jisoo won the “Outstanding Korean Actress” in the Hallyu Drama category with 41.58% of votes from fans worldwide. She played as Eun Young-ro in Snowdrop (2021-2022) and topped the SDA poll out of 32 Korean female actors who were selected as official candidates for the said award.

Due to conflict of schedule, she was not able to attend the ceremony and shared her acceptance speech instead in a video:

“Hello, I’m Jisoo. It’s such a huge honor to receive the Outstanding Korean Actress award in the Hallyu Drama. I’m sorry that I can’t attend due to my schedule but I’m glad and happy that I got this award. Thanks to everyone who loved the drama and Young-ro. I’ll work hard to show you better performances in the future. Thank you!”

Seoul International Drama Awards (SDA) is considered the largest international award ceremony for drama based in South Korea that honors TV drama productions and actors worldwide. The event was broadcast live simultaneously on KBS2 TV and SDA’s official Youtube channel on September 22nd.
