1. Hong Dusik, the countryside charmer.
Hong Dusik, also known as Chief Hong in tvN’s Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha (2021) is a countryside charmer, portrayed by Kim Seonho. He got into Seoul National University as a scholar with the highest grades as an Engineering student. After five years, he returned to the fictional countryside of Gongjin to start a new life by getting engaged in various activities with his multiple skills, such as surfing, fishing, photography, candle-making, soap-making, coffee-making, bidding, and a lot more. He is also known as the hero of Gongjin for being dependable, kind, and warmhearted, assisting anyone who needs his help. He even won the “Brave Citizen Award” twice for catching a purse snatcher on the street and saving a drunk old man sleeping on the train tracks.
Although he can be too nosy sometimes, Hong Dusik as your date will surely make your heart swoon with his natural charisma and lovely smile. He might take you to the beach for a fun day or a relaxing night full of warm conversations while stargazing. He might also treat you to a night of wines, fun games, or read you a book, or sing you a song with his guitar, or take you out for a bike ride around Gongjin.

He goes the extra mile to make sure you are safe and sound, and work behind the scenes to help you accomplish your goals. As a date, he’d probably surprise you a romantic visit when you least expect it.

Vincenzo Cassano in tvN’s Vincenzo (2021) is a ravishing Italian lawyer and Mafia consigliere of Korean descent, played by Song Joong-ki. He was an orphan in Korea, adopted, and raised by a patriarch of the Cassano mafia family in Italy, then returns to his homeland with the quest of recovering his 1.5 tons of gold hidden in an old plaza building. In the end, he saves the fictional country of Daeho and the one he loves.
Jang Uk is the type of guy who will protect you from all sorts of dangers, leaving you spellbound. He will probably take you to a faraway land to show you some magical display, atop a huge tree to show you the world, or by the lake, to catch fish and prepare a hearty meal for you.
7. Yi-san, the poetic crown prince.
Yi-san in MBC’s The Red Sleeve (2021) is a Crown Prince who later becomes King Jeongjo, played by Lee Jun-ho. He is intelligent, strong-willed, and knows his duties well but his heart is marked with traumatic scars due to the killing of his father that led the kingdom to be ruled by his grandfather who is a ruthless King. So he has resolved in his heart to be a better monarch and reform the law once he takes the throne. Amid political corruption and crime revelations, Yi-san falls in love with a clever and free-spirited court lady and pursues her to become his royal concubine.
Prepare for a poetic dialogue if Yi-san is your date. He will truly leave you spellbound with his beautiful thoughts and words and make your heart melt with a single look. You also get a tour around the royal court and probably a horse ride through the woods and a walk by the lake.

While most of the K-drama crushes represent intelligence, elegance, and social status, Baek Yi-jin is a relatable character who is hard-pressed on every side, faced with moments of giving up, but moves forward to build a better life, making him totally a swoonworthy character.
His fresh aura, charming gaze, and fluent English will surely make your heart flutter. Get ready to be picked up by his red luxury car if you are his date. You will probably go for a long drive and spend a fun time together eating ice cream, running by the beach, walking on the bridge, or playing with water fountain.

As time goes by, the family discovers that he has the amazing speed to run, the agility to jump as far as possible, owns a luxury car, and not an ordinary man at all.
Although he looks coldhearted and avoids people, he is a listener who can endure the night listening to your complaints. As his date, he has this knack to make your heart flutter simply by worshiping you. He knows his “worship” duties well, one who quietly fetches you up at work, walks beside you or behind you, and sits beside you for a relaxing conversation.
