Hopeless (2023) also known as “Hwaran” is a Korean movie about a teenage boy who desperately wants to escape his hometown full of violence but finds himself gradually falling into the hands of a mobster. The film was invited to screen at the Un Certain Regard section of the Cannes International Film Festival that will take place from May 16 to 27, 2023.
