The Korean political series, Queenmaker (2023) has landed at no.1 spot on Netflix’s Global Top 10 in non-English TV category for the week of April 10 to 16, 2023.

The show reached Top 10 in TV in 12 countries including Hongkong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Qatar, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, and took first place in South Korea. So far, it has been watched for 15.8 million hours since its release on April 14.

Netflix’s Queenmaker (2023) is a gripping political drama that revolves around two powerful women who have different strong opinions but fight together to achieve the same end goal. It stars Kim Hee-ae, a Strategic Planning Manager who takes care of cases at a company and Moon So-ri, a Human Rights Lawyer who runs for Mayor in Seoul. Despite differences, they will join hands to create a world where justice prevails. It is written by Moon Ji-young and helmed by Oh Jin-seok.
