The medical drama of the SBS network, Dr. Romantic 3 (2023) has been named the Best Drama at the 2023 Korean Broadcasting Awards.

Korean Broadcasting Awards is an annual award ceremony that honors programs and artists in terrestrial broadcasting in South Korea. In its 50th edition, Dr. Romantic 3 (2023) was announced as the Best Drama of the year and Director Yoo Yoo In-shik received the award on stage on September 4, 2023.

Dr. Romantic (2016-2023) follows a triple-board certified surgeon who leaves a top medical center in Seoul and ends up at a small hospital in the countryside, mentoring young doctors, starring Han Suk-kyu, Ahn Hyo-seop, Lee Sung-kyung, Yoo Yeon-seok, and more.

The first season aired in 2016, followed by a second season in January 2020. Meanwhile, Dr. Romantic 3 (2023) premiered on April 28, 2023 with a high nationwide viewership rating of 12.7%. It achieved its highest record for the season of 16.8% during the finale on June 17, 2023. The third season was written by Kang Eun-kyung and Lim Hye-min and helmed by Yoo In-shik and Kang Bo-seung, and is available for binge-watching on Disney Plus.
