“Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” is a hit romantic-comedy Korean series and an outstanding remake of the 2004 film, “Mr. Hong”, starring Kim Seonho and Shin Mina.

It consistently took the highest nationwide viewership ratings in its time slot across all channels, from the premiere in August to the finale episode in October, attaining the highest record of 12.7%, according to Nielsen Korea.

After more than a month since its finale, it continues to be recognized across the globe and remains to be one of the Korean series with strong presence on Netflix, entering the Top 10 list worldwide, alongside “Squid Game” and “Hellbound“.

According to the award-winning author, “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” is utterly charming and has no flaws. “It’s rare that I get lost in a show, but I did with this one,” Christie interacts with a fan.

While engaging with fans, she shared her insights about Kim Seonho’s performance as Chief Hong, stating that he is one of the most convincing and natural actors she has seen, who was perfect in portraying the many emotions throughout the series. She added, “He delivered a jaw-droppingly good performance.”

It’s also fascinating to know that the famous author is already rewatching the drama. When a fan said, “Welcome to the Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha Admiration Club!” Christie responded in all caps, “SIGN ME UP!“
