On January 5th, Top Star News revealed the ranking of actors with brand value for the week of December 29, 2021 to January 4, 2022. The survey data was analyzed in areas including reading rate, reader recommendations, article comments, and retweet clicks.
“The Red Sleeve” stars, Lee Jun-ho and Lee Se-young remain in the 1st and 2nd spots respectively. Lee Junho topped the overall ranking with a total score of 31,233 points while Lee Se-young got a total score of 24,188 points. They both got the highest rate in news or article views with a score of more than 20,000 points.
The Daesang Grand Prize winner for his role in “The Veil”, Namkoong Min, rose to to 3rd spot from the previous brand value ranking of 4th place. He got a total score of 9,826 points.
Meanwhile, Kim Seonho remains in the number one spot for the high brand value per article with a total score of 3,242 points.
Celebrities with brand power or value builds credibility and serves as a vital tool for advertisers in model selection. The positive image is also strongly influenced by the fandom’s participation in community or social media activities and reactions.
