TVN has released the video teaser and character posters of its newest drama, Twenty-Five Twenty-One, which stars Kim Tae-ri and Nam Joo-hyuk.
Set in the era of 1998, the drama revolves around young people deprived of dreams and confused between friendship and love. It looks like a travel back in time when the 1990s youth faced the emotional struggles of love and success.
As the character posters revealed Nam Joo-hyuk and Kim Tae-ri in jumping or flying positions, the message of the story hints at soaring high for their dreams even in bad times. Their facial expressions and gestures also depict passion, ambition, confidence, and energy.
Kim Tae-ri will play the role of “Na Hee-do”, a fencing prodigy. For this very passionate girl, she won’t give up on achieving her dreams.
Nam Joo-hyuk will portray “Baek Yi-jin”, an eldest son who became a reporter after living a difficult life. For him, tough times will not take away his happiness.
Twenty-Five Twenty-One will premiere on February 12th at 9:00PM, KST. It will also be available for streaming on Netflix.
