Did you know that the hot-tempered North Korean agent in Snowdrop (2021-2022) is the same actor who plays the CEO’s secretary in the drama, A Business Proposal?
Actor Kim Min-gue played as Joo Gyeok-chan in Snowdrop (2021-2022), one of the comrades of Lim Soo-ho who held the dormitory students as hostage. In the historical-political drama, he is known to be a ruthless and impatient soldier who hides a secret mission to kill Lim Soo-ho played by Jung Hae-in.
It’s not easy to recognize him in A Business Proposal (2022) because his character in Snowdrop (2021) looked violent, dangerous, and hot-headed. He wasn’t also wearing eyeglasses and had unkempt hair in the said drama.
Meanwhile, he appears totally different in A Business Proposal (2022) where he presents a positive and professional image through the character, Cha Sung-hoon, the intelligent secretary of CEO.
In this popular romantic-comedy drama, he dresses up neatly, walks and talks professionally, wears eyeglasses, and yes, handsome. At first look, he seems to be serious and strict, but he’s a true gentleman when help is needed and wise in dealing with the CEO’s workplace and personal problems. Overall, he’s a swoon-worthy drama character and it is no wonder why he is stealing many hearts anew.
Kim Min-gue also known as Kim Min-kyu, was born in 1994 and started appearing on television in 2013. From minor to notable roles, he has participated in 4 films, 15 TV series, and 5 web series including Signal (2016), Because This Is My First Life (2017), Backsteet Rookie (2020), and Snowdrop (2021-2022), to name a few.
He was nominated for “Best New Actor” in the drama, The Rich Son (2018) at the MBC Drama Awards and “Breakout Actor” for his performance in the drama, Because This Is My First Life (2017) at the Soompi Awards.
