Kim Seonho has once again claimed the title “Korean Wave Actor” on Thekking, a popular online voting platform which was developed for fans of K-dramas and K-pop.
For four (4) consecutive months this year, Kim Seonho ranked first place in the category, K-Drama Wave Actor. As a result, he earned a digital ad display at New York’s Time Square, NASDAQ billboard.
The Hallyu star received more than 4 million votes in January, 1.4 million votes in February, 1.7 million votes in March, and 2.05 million votes in April from fans worldwide.
On April 25th, a digital ad featuring Kim Seonho adorned the city of New York as a result of his win in March. The video was created by a fan, displaying the actor’s charming looks as well as highlighting remarkable key points: “A versatile actor”, “Theater actor”, “Award-winning”, “Hallyu star”, and “South Korea’s top star”. It also promotes his movie debut, “Now ready to hit the big screen this 2022”. Lastly, it conveys a heartwarming message from his fandom, “Kim Seonho in every way, in all ways, we prefer you.”
His digital ad at New York’s Time Square, NASDAQ billboard will be displayed until May 1, 2022.
