“My Liberation Notes” K-Drama Enters Netflix’s Global Top 10

The Korean drama, My Liberation Notes (2022) has entered Netflix’s Global Top 10 after six (6) weeks of streaming. It took 9th place in the category, non-English TV show, on the week of May 16 to 22, 2022.

So far, it has obtained 9.8 million viewing hours and is popular in 10 countries from Asia including Hongkong, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, and Thailand. It landed on no.1 spot in Indonesia and Vietnam.

My Liberation Notes (2022) follows the story of three siblings and Mr. Gu, the stranger in the countryside of Sanpo, starring Lee Min-ki, Kim Ji-won, Son Sukku, and Lee El.

The drama is drawing much attention from viewers for its relevant message of finding meaning in life and freedom from the mundane. Many are hooked with the show for it beautifully utters the unspoken words of humanity about yearning for wholeness through its relatable characters.
