The long wait is finally coming to an end for Kim Seonho’s fans. While everyone’s highly anticipating for Sad Tropics film to arrive, they got a surprise theater comeback instead that will run this coming July. His throngs of fans will not only see him portray the nobleman on the big screen but watch him perform live on stage as well before the year ends.
“Thanks to you, my time is slowly mending. I will cherish your support to become a better person and actor. Thank you for staying by my side and I won’t let you wait too long,” Kim Seonho expressed his heartfelt thoughts about his personal journey with fans.
Indeed, he won’t let his fans wait too long.
On June 2nd, Kim Seonho and Touching The Void topped the real-time search rankings on Play DB, a company that provides information on performances from theater to musical. Local and overseas fans also flocked to Interpark site to purchase tickets for the theatrical play.

Touching The Void is a bestselling book written by mountaineer Joe Simpson about his near-death experience in the 20,853-foot Siula Grande in the Peruvian Andes in 1985.
It was turned into a documentary film by Kevin MacDonald in 2003 and adapted for stage play by David Greig in 2018.
On May 13th, it was announced that it will be officially adapted for theater in South Korea and Kim Seonho was cast to play the role of Joe Simpson.
The Korean version will be directed by Kim Dong-yeon with nine (9) stage actors cast for the said play, including long-time theater actor Kim Seonho.
Touching The Void will be held at Art One Theater Hall 2, Daehak-ro in South Korea from July 8 to September 18, 2022.
According to the released schedule for the month of July, Kim Seonho will appear in the following dates:
