Kim Seonho’s D-DAY Touching The Void Performance, All Seats Sold Out

It’s D-DAY of Kim Seonho’s theater comeback and all seats on his performance dates for the months of July and August were immediately sold out after the online selling was opened. He also topped the real-time search rankings on Play DB on June 2nd to see information about him and the play, Touching The Void.

In several interviews, Kim Seonho has always been enthusiastic about sharing his first love: Theater. His passion for stage acting started in college when he joined a theater group until he performed his first role in 2009 with New Boeing Boeing. In total, he has appeared in 17 theater productions and has attracted crowd with his charms on stage that he sold out theater seats even before he rose to stardom.

Now that Kim Seonho is back on stage, fans are excited to see the “Theater Idol” perform again. He will play the tormenting yet life-changing story of Joe Simpson, a mountaineer who survived a near-death experience while hiking the 20,853-foot Siula Grande in the Peruvian Andes in 1985.

The production is based on a bestselling book written by Joe Simpson himself, which was turned into a documentary film by Kevin MacDonald in 2003 and adapted for stage play by David Greig in 2018. On May 13th, it was announced that it will be officially adapted for theater in South Korea, which will be directed by Kim Dong-yeon with nine (9) stage actors, including long-time theater actor Kim Seonho.

Touching The Void (2022) will be held at Art One Theater Hall 2, Daehak-ro in South Korea from July 8 to September 18, 2022.

According to the released schedule for the month of July, Kim Seonho will appear in the following dates:
