Superstar Park Bogum is truly a wonderful person, inside out. He looks so handsome outwardly but more so, an amazingly great person on the inside. Here are some moments that showed the actor’s kind and pleasant personality in Youth MT or Young Actors’ Retreat (2022):
1. He thinks less about himself and more about the people around him.
Park Bogum arrived at the camp base straight from Paris. Although hungry and tired from the flight, the superstar still looked so bright and cheery. He was all smiles when the team of Love in The Moonlight (2016) arrived and happily greeted the actors from the other teams.
While preparing for the afternoon activity, Park Bogum happily took the almonds from their room, went outside, and took initiative to start a conversation with co-actors from the other teams and offered the snacks to them.
Normally, tired and hungry people become grumpy and would rather seclude self to take a rest or eat good food. But Park Bogum did not mind at all. He thought less of himself and just enjoyed the day with co-actors.
2. He spreads positivity and always cheerful in every situation.
Everyone sighed and felt anxious when the director told the actors they will be mixed for the afternoon activity. But Park Bogum changed the atmosphere with his bright smile and cheery attitude, saying, “It will be fun!”
In various activities, we’ve seen him complimenting Hwang In-youp, patting his back, giving him a hug, and cheering for him: “It’s fine. You did great”, “Good work. Are you alright?”, “You were really adorable”, “You’re the best driver”.
In episode 4, it seems Hwang In-youp has grown comfortable around Park Bogum. While driving, he talked about how the weather usually changes from raindrops to clear skies when he arrives on the filming set. He asked Park Bogum, “Some people bring the rain with them. That happens. What kind of person are you?” Park Bogum cheerfully responded, “I clear the sky.”
And truly he has been that ray of sunshine who brightens the atmosphere in Youth MT with his pleasant, warm, and cheery personality.
