tvN’s Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha (2021) is the story of a fun and warm community in the seaside village of Gongjin, introducing a man with odd jobs who lives freely on his own but helps everyone in need, and a perfectionist dentist whose life turns around when she loses her job in Seoul and moves to the countryside, meeting ordinary yet extraordinary people. It is based on the Korean film, Mr. Handy, Mr. Hong (2014) by Kang Seok-beom and Shin Jung-goo.
