Kim Dong-wook will play a news anchor who travels to the past to dig deep into a series of murders, while Jin Ki-joo will portray an ordinary office worker who travels through time to prevent the wedding of her parents. The 16-episode drama is written by Baek So Yeon, helmed by Kang Soo Yeon, and set to premiere on May 1.
2. A Time Called You

A Time Called You (2023) follows a woman who can’t seem to forget her boyfriend who died a year ago, so she travels back in time to 1998 and meets a male student who resembles her deceased boyfriend, starring Ahn Hyo-seop and Jeon Yeo-been. It is based on Taiwan’s television series, Someday Or One Day (2019-2020) by Huang Tien-jen. The screenplay is written by Choi Hyo-bi, helmed by Kim Jin-won, and will be released this year on Netflix

Marry My Husband (2023) is a time slip Korean drama that is based on a web novel of the same name by Sung So Jak about a woman who was killed by her husband after witnessing him having an affair with her bestfriend. So she travels back 10 years into the past to seek revenge. Park Min-young, Lee Yi-kyung, and Na In-woo are in talks to lead the drama.
4. See You In My 19th Life

tvN’s See You in My 19th Life (2023) is a webtoon-based drama of the same name by Lee Hey that follows a woman with an extraordinary ability to recall her past lives. Her 18th life was cut short due to a tragic accident so she sets out to reconnect with a man he met in the past in her 19th life, starring Shin Hye-sun and Ahn Bo-hyun. The 12-episode series is written by Choi Young-lim, helmed by Lee Na Jung, and will also be available on Netflix.
5. Tale Of The Nine-Tailed 1938

Tale Of The Nine-Tailed 1938 (2023) is the second season of the action-fantasy series that tells the story of a gumiho who struggles to return to the present time after getting dragged back to a chaotic era in 1938, starring Lee Dong-wook, Kim So-yeon, Kim Bum, and Ryu Kyung-soo. The second season is written by Han Woo-ri, helmed by Kang Shin-hyo, and expected to be released in May 2023.
6. The Story Of Park’s Marriage Contract

MBC’s The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract (2023) is based on a webtoon of the same name about the contractual marriage between a woman from Joseon and a bachelor in the 21st century. Lee Se-young will play Park Yeon-woo, a woman who loses her husband on the first night of their married life and suddenly finds herself traveling to the present time where she meets Kang Tae-ha, a celibate who looks exactly like her late husband, to be played by Bae In-hyuk. The drama is expected to be released in the second half of the year.
