Kim Soo-hyun is an award -winning and renowned screenwriter and novelist in South Korea. She specializes in narratives that explore social issues and believes that a succesful story is written not with the head but with one’s heart.
In 2014, she began to pursue her own exhibition named as “Kim Soo Hyun Drama Art Hall”. It was completed in 2019 and opened in 2020 to the public. The exhibition includes a tour around her various writing works for dramas, books, and films.
On December 21st, Naver reports that “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” was selected by the Kim Soo-hyun Drama Art Hall as the “Best Drama of the Year” for its healing narrative that portrays warm stories of relatable ordinary lives.
“It is a type of work that perfectly fits the good drama that Kim Soo Hyun Drama Art Hall envisions,” says the group of experts who selected the drama as this year’s winner.
