All Of Us Are Dead is a zombie-thriller Korean series by Netflix, starring Yoon Chan-young, Park Ji-hoo, Cho Yi-hyun, Park Solomon, and Yoo In-soo.
The 12-episode show is based on a webtoon entitled Now at Our School by Joo Dong-geun. It follows high school students who are trapped inside the building which has become ground zero for a zombie outbreak.
While it introduced several interesting characters portrayed by young stars and veteran actors, three performances stood out and stole the show.
Here are the three best scene-stealing and most talked-about performances in All Of Us Are Dead:
1. Nam-ra by Cho Yi-hyun
Perhaps the best character development of the show belongs to Nam-ra, the Junior class president who is quiet yet highly reflective and intelligent.
Cho Yi-hyun definitely owned this role with her acting skills who looked outwardly emotionless but inwardly profound and penetrating. More so, she showed more impressive performances when she got infected with the virus.
You will love her character more as she tried her best not to be dominated by the zombie sting and used her extraordinarily perceptive abilities to help her friends escape the zombie apocalypse.
2. Cheong-san by Yoon Chan-young
Known as a fast runner, Cheong-san appears to be the most fearless, daring, yet warmhearted friend and son who fought for everyone’s sake until the end.
No doubt but Yoon Chan-young played this character with excellence. He showed us amazing stunts and several action scenes. He climbed the walls, shelves, and fought the zombies with his wise tactics and fast moves.
He also made us cry when he broke down upon seeing his infected mother, said his last farewell to his friends, and exerted all efforts to lure the zombies, kill Gwi-nam, and bring the survivors to safety.
3. Gwi-nam by Yoo In-soo
Gwi-nam may be one of the most hated characters in the show for being a heartless bully, but he is definitely one of the scene-stealing roles.
Known as the zombie that never dies after several attempts of pushing him off the building, he still managed to survive with only one goal: to kill Cheong-san.
It is said that when a villain is much hated, it shows the impact of the actor’s performance and Yoo In-soo achieved this.
Some comments on his Instagram are filled with affirmation and praises for his acting skills. One said, “You did so well! Such a great actor!”
Another international viewer said, “You played the role real good. I want to see you in more dramas. Fighting!”
Here are other positive remarks: “You slayed!”, “I hate you so much in the drama but you’re so hot dude.”, “You were amazing in the show “, “Such a badass actor!”
