Seonhohada Secures 2M Won Donation To Charity In Kim Seonho’s Name

Kim Seonho is not just popular in theater and television but he is also known to be a generous actor who donates to charities. In 2021, he has donated a total of 150 million won to Korea Leukemia Children’s Foundation.

Following the influence of Kim Seonho’s heart of giving, his Seonhohada fandom also shares with the actor in this act of generosity and engaging with social causes. His fans have donated to various charities including Dongmyeong Children’s Welfare Center, Sanggye 3 and 4 administrative welfare centers, and Korea Leukemia Children’s Foundation. Seonhohada worldwide also organized a fundraising event to help local groups in Asia stricken with calamities.

In February, Seonhohada participated in Thekking’s K-Actor Survival Ranking game where the winner earns a reward worth 2 million won to be donated to a selected charity in the actor’s name.

The survival game is based on the number of hearts being dropped for the actor. Five candidates advanced to the final round on February 23rd including Kim Seonho, Jin-young, Cha Eun-woo, Lee Minho, and Song Ji-hyo. It appeared to be a tough fight between the actors Lee Minho, Cha Eun-woo, and Kim Seonho in the last remaining hours of the game.

On February 27th, 00:00 KST, Kim Seonho emerged as the K-Actor Survival Ranking winner who received 1.5 million hearts from his fans. He is followed by Lee Minho who obtained 941,582 votes while Cha Eun-woo took 3rd place with 933,699 votes. Jin-young ranked 4th place with 101,776 votes and Song Ji-hyo came in 5th place with 21,012 votes.

On February 28th, Thekking officially declared Kim Seonho as the winner of “K-Actor Survival Ranking” who earned a reward of 2 million won for a cause and mentioned that complete details of the donation schedule and charity will be announced as soon as it is ready.

His first ad appeared on February 24th at NY Times Square and will last until March 2nd.
