The global popularity of Kim Seonho is truly unstoppable. On April 17th, a huge crowd awaited and cheered for the superstar at the airport in Thailand to send him off.
Kim Seonho with Director Park Hoon-jung, rookie actor Kang Tae-joo, and team were seen leaving the city to fly back to South Korea after spending two weeks in the country for the overseas filming of Sad Tropics (2022).
He bowed, waved at the cheerful fans, gave them a finger heart, thumbs-up, and smiley eyes.
Kim Seonho received immense love and hospitality from Thai fans during his two-week stay in the country. His fandom organized various billboard projects displayed all over the city with the message, “Welcome to Thailand, Kim Seonho!” and “We have been waiting for you”.
He also received an advance birthday gift from Thais through three (3) giant billboards displayed at Paragon Mall. It featured the actor’s timeless portraits and warm smiles.
He was spotted with his manager visiting the billboards and taking pictures with a finger heart. He was also seen freely walking around the city in casual attire, looking relaxed and in good shape.
Meanwhile, fans worldwide are getting more excited for the release of Sad Tropics (2022). It is an action film noir by the famous screenwriter-director, Park Hoon-jung that talks about an aspiring Korean-Filipino boxer who comes to Korea to find his estranged father. Throughout the quest, he stumbles upon a villainous group of boys and encounters a mysterious nobleman to be played by Kim Seonho.
The movie is expected to be released in the second half of the year.
